Tozer ; Intorduction by William L. He desires to keep us pure and holy unto Himself and Himself alone. Likewise, the author’s discussion of the lack of active presence of the Holy Spirit reminds me that the concern over continuation or cessation of the Holy Spirit is by no means a concern only of our times, but one that has been going on for the better part of a century.

My only reservation is to say to not take every word in this book to heart. God has indeed lent to every man the power to lock his heart and stalk away darkly into his self-chosen night, as He has lent to every man the ability to respond cconquest His overtures of grace, but wh This book is much deeper and harder to understand that the previous Tozer book I read.
